In response to the severity of COVID-19 levels, the rules and regulations concerning online teaching for NCKU students and teachers are as follows:

  1. For one course within one campus, if there are more than two positive COVID-19 cases among teachers or students (within 48 hours), the in-person class for that course will be suspended for two weeks and online teaching will be adopted. Those who take the course will not be allowed to enter the university, and they must attend all other courses online as well.

After confirmation by the NCKU COVID-19 Prevention Team, the course will be taught online. Teachers of these classes, which have been adjusted to online teaching, are obliged to assist their students with their study progress and record online courses so that their students will have access to remedial materials. In addition, the Office of Academic Affairs wishes to thank our teachers in advance for all of the extra effort that will be required to consider their students’ special cases and individual needs, and to support and assist their students in learning with more flexible teaching and assessment methods.
